Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his tweeting on launch of a video campaign ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday termed the Prime Minister’s tweet ‘defensive’.
‘Defensive tweet Mr Modi! You feeling a little guilty today?’ Mr Gandhi tweeted.
Earlier in the day, hitting back at the Congress president for his ‘Chowkidar chor hai’ jibe, the Prime Minister launched the video campaign ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ in which he said that he is not alone in his fight against corruption and social evils.
In a post on social media, the Prime Minister said, ‘Your Chowkidar is standing firm & serving the nation. But, I am not alone. Everyone who is fighting corruption, dirt, social evils is a Chowkidar. Everyone working hard for the progress of India is a Chowkidar. Today, every Indian is saying Main Bhi Chowkidar.’ (UNI)
