Amazon Workers Strike: Largest strike in U.S. history

Amazon Workers Strike

Amazon Workers Strike: Thousands of Amazon workers initiated what they call the “largest strike against Amazon in U.S. history,” on Thursday aiming to escalate pressure on the retail giant during the peak holiday shopping season

The strike targets seven Amazon facilities spread across the United States. Participants include Amazon employees affiliated with the Teamsters labor union, as well as truckers responsible for transporting packages in and out of the facilities.

Warehouse workers from major cities, including New York, Atlanta, and San Francisco, are joining the protest. The workers are demanding better working conditions and treatment from the company.

Amazon, however, stated that it does not anticipate any significant impact on its operations, despite the timing of the strike during one of the busiest periods of the year.
