Odisha Approves 17 Projects: The Government of Odisha has taken a significant step toward bolstering the state’s industrial landscape by approving 17 major projects worth a cumulative investment of ₹3883.72 crores. These approvals were granted during the 134th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Ahuja, IAS, reflecting Odisha’s dedication to sustainable growth and job creation.

This milestone precedes the highly anticipated Utkarsh Odisha 2025 Conclave, underscoring the state’s proactive strategy to attract investments and promote industrial excellence under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. Odisha’s focus on innovation, ease of doing business, and socio-economic progress continues to solidify its reputation as a premier investment destination in India.

The approved projects span 15 key sectors, including Steel, Iron & Ferro Alloys, Power & Renewable Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Green Hydrogen, Transportation, Storage, Bio Fuel/Bio Fertilizer, ESDM, Tourism, Green Energy Equipment, and Petroleum & Petrochemicals. Together, they represent a collective investment of ₹3883.72 crores and are poised to create over 12,280 employment opportunities, significantly benefiting Odisha’s youth.

These initiatives will also strengthen the industrial infrastructure across eight districts: Sambalpur, Rayagada, Ganjam, Jajpur, Angul, Khordha, Dhenkanal, and Jharsuguda, further advancing the state’s journey toward economic prosperity and industrial excellence.
