Train Diversion Alert: In view of the construction of an Air Concourse and other safety-related modernisation works at Cuttack Railway Station under the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR), three long-distance trains will be temporarily diverted for a period of one month.
From 16th February to 17th March 2025, these trains will operate via Barang-Naraj Marthapur-Kapilas Road, instead of their usual route via Barang-Cuttack-Kapilas Road. As a result, their scheduled stoppage at Cuttack Railway Station will be skipped, and a temporary stoppage will be provided at Naraj Marthapur Railway Station during this period.
Affected Trains & New Stoppage
- 12515 Coimbatore-Silchar Weekly Super-Fast Express – Arriving at Cuttack on Tuesdays (Monday late night) from 16th February to 16th March 2025.
- 22643 Ernakulam-Patna Bi-Weekly Express – Arriving at Cuttack on Wednesdays & Thursdays (late night of Tuesday & Wednesday).
- 12509 Bengaluru-Guwahati Tri-Weekly Express – Arriving at Cuttack on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays (late night of Thursday, Friday & Saturday).
Free Bus Service for Passengers
To facilitate passenger movement, Khurda Road Division of ECoR will provide a free bus service between Cuttack Railway Station and Naraj Marthapur Railway Station for passengers traveling on these diverted trains. The bus service will be available in both directions during the entire period of diversion.
Passengers scheduled to board or alight at Cuttack Railway Station are advised to utilize this free bus service for a seamless travel experience.
