The Kiwis defeated Bangladesh by five wickets, powered by Rachin Ravindra’s 112, and beat Pakistan by 60 runs in their opening match. This match will decide the Group A topper. Regardless of the result, India will play the first semi-final in Dubai on March 4, and New Zealand will feature in the second semi-final in Lahore on March 5.
India has a strong head-to-head record, winning 60 of their 118 ODIs against New Zealand, while the Kiwis have won 50. The last ODI meeting between these sides was in the 2023 World Cup semi-final, where India triumphed by 70 runs in Mumbai. India will be aiming to finish the group stage with another win.
