Floral Holi Celebrated at Pracheen Kaal Bhairav Mandir, Jammu

Floral Holi

Floral Holi: Holi was celebrated with devotion and joy at the historic Pracheen Kaal Bhairav Mandir in Jammu today, in a manner that was boh unique and spiritually enriching.  Pandit Rumil Sharma explained that, instead of the traditional Holi played with colors, the devotees at this temple observed a special

“Phoolon Ki Holi” (Holi with flowers).

The temple grounds were filled with the sweet scent of fresh flowers, as petals were showered over one another, creating a captivating blend of devotion and festivity.

The celebrations began with the ceremonial application of Chandan (sandalwood), Haldi (turmeric), and Bhasm (sacred ash) to the deity, symbolizing purity and reverence. This was followed by the joyful celebration of Holi using fragrant flowers, as devotees offered their prayers for peace, prosperity, and happiness across the nation.

The tradition of Phoolon Ki Holi, also observed in Barsana, the sacred land of Radha Rani, was embraced by the devotees in Jammu, promoting the ideals of love, devotion, and unity.

Pandit Rumil Sharma Ji wished everyone across India a Happy Holi, hoping that the festival brings peace, joy, and unity, while symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring. May this celebration fill all lives with positivity and divine blessings.
