Orientation 2025 Begins at Manipal University Jaipur with Enthusiastic Participation

Orientation 2025: The campus of Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) came alive today as it welcomed its newest batch of students through a vibrant three-day Orientation Program, aimed at helping first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students transition smoothly into university life.

The Orientation Program, which began today and will continue till 27th July 2025, opened with dedicated sessions for students of Law, Sciences, MCA, M.Sc. Cyber Security, and the inaugural batch of B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering). Parallel orientation sessions were held for Law and Science programs.

Welcoming the freshers and their families, Prof. Kuldip Singh Sangwan, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Architecture (FoSTA), addressed the students of the science streams, while Prof. Bharti, Dean of the Faculty of Law, welcomed the law students with a concise introduction to the programs and the ethos of legal education at MUJ.

In his Presidential Address, Prof. N N Sharma, President of MUJ, encouraged students to take charge of their learning journey with a sense of responsibility. Emphasizing the university’s student-centric vision, he said, “Students are the most important individuals at MUJ. Use science to serve society, and begin engaging with research from the very start.”

Prof. Kaurnakar A Kotegar, Pro-President of MUJ, inspired students through insightful anecdotes and storytelling. He urged them to embrace curiosity, pursue in-depth learning for knowledge’s sake, and focus on holistic development throughout their academic journey.

Prof. Amit Soni, Registrar, presented an overview of MUJ’s growth from a promising institute to a globally recognized academic destination. He highlighted the university’s milestones, infrastructure, and its commitment to shaping future leaders.

Prof. Nitu Bhatnagar, Provost, welcomed students and their families with warmth. She congratulated them for choosing MUJ and spoke about the enriching campus life, the university’s student support mechanisms, and the legacy of the Manipal Group.

The sessions concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Prakash Ramani, Director-Admissions (Science programs), and Dr. Sonu Agrawal, Head of Department, Law (Law session).

The day was marked by cheerful faces, enthusiastic conversations, and a sense of excitement among students and parents. Many were visiting the campus for the first time and were visibly impressed by the world-class infrastructure and the welcoming atmosphere.

The Orientation Program will continue on 26th July with sessions for B.Tech (non-CSE), B.Tech (CSE-Batch-2), M.Tech, Architecture, Design, Media and Communication, Liberal Arts, Literature, MBA, BHM, and BBA (Hospitality & Tourism) programs. The final day, 27th July, will see orientations for students of B.Tech (CSE-Batch-3), BBA, Psychology, BCA, B.Com, M.Com, and Economics (UG & PG) programs.

With smiles, dreams, and aspirations, the MUJ campus has transformed into a vibrant fairground—brimming with new beginnings.
