Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar:  The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Meadows successfully organized the inter-school art competition “Rangatuli-2025.” This highly anticipated event, now in its 4th edition, brought together over 500+ young artists from 100+ schools across the city, competing in two categories with the theme of ‘India of my Dreams’ for students of  Std. V to Std. VII  & ‘The world without war’ for students of  Std. VIII to Std. X.

The competition, held at the Rail Auditorium, Chandrasekharpur was inaugurated by Smt. Surama Padhy, Hon’ble Speaker Odisha Legislative Assembly, Rtn. Manoj Kumar Tripathy, District Governor RID-3262, Club Advisor PDG Aswini Kar, Aditya Prasad Padhi, Club President, P K Amar Secretary, Project Chair Santosh Senapati, Sj. Prasant Kumar, DGM SBI, Smt. Minati Singha, sub-editor Times of India. The young participants demonstrated remarkable creativity and skill, creating artworks that reflected both their imagination and artistic talent.

The day’s events culminated in a grand award ceremony. From Group-B, Achyuta Ku Ray Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Baibhaba Subhadarshi  BJEM-1, and Saishree Singh Loyala School secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, respectively. From Group-A, Payalpriya Barik, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Pratyasha Priyadarshini DAV School CS pur, and Jyotiprakash Ray K C Behera Govt UP School were awarded the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, respectively. Additionally, 10 students from each group received consolation prizes. A total of Rs. 1,00,000 in cash prizes, along with mementos, were distributed to the winners.

In his address, Chief Guest Smt. Surama Padhi commended the young artists for their outstanding work and praised the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Meadows for its efforts in nurturing young talent. “Art is a powerful medium for expression, and it is heartening to see so many young minds channeling their creativity in such a positive way,” she said.

Rtn. Swapnita Tripathy and Rt. Prof. Dr. Isha Mishra managed  both the inauguration and award ceremony with the help of the core team of Rangatuli-2025. Rtn. Ramakrushna Panda coordinated the publication of the club bulletin, “The Meadows”, with the esteemed guest.

The Rotary Club President, Rtn. Aditya Prasad Padhi, and the event chair, Past President Santosh Senapati, expressed their gratitude to all participants, sponsors,partners, Rotaractors and the entire core team  who contributed to the success of the event. “This competition is more than just a contest; it is an opportunity for students to express themselves, build confidence, and develop their artistic skills. We are proud to provide a platform for these talented young individuals,” the President stated.

The event received widespread appreciation from parents, teachers, and attendees, who praised the high level of organization and the quality of artworks on display. Many remarked on the importance of such events in encouraging artistic pursuits among school children.

The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Meadows looks forward to continuing its tradition of supporting young talent and fostering a love for the arts in future editions of Rangatuli.
