Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 58th position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 in the overall university category, marking a significant leap from its 64th position in 2024.
In the engineering category, MUJ advanced from 64th in 2024 to 58th in 2025. The Architecture discipline showcased a striking rise, moving from 33rd to 21st position, while in the management category, MUJ stood at 81st and in Law, it secured the 32nd position nationally.
For the first time, NIRF introduced Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Innovation categories, where MUJ earned a place in the 11–50 band among 791 and 777 participating institutions, respectively. Furthermore, in the all-India overall rankings, MUJ jumped from the 100–150 band in 2024 to an impressive 98th position in 2025.
Expressing his delight, Professor Niti Nipun Sharma, President, MUJ, said:

The NIRF, instituted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is a prestigious ranking system that evaluates institutions on teaching quality, learning resources, research output, graduation outcomes, and overall institutional performance. MUJ’s steady upward journey in these rankings underscores its commitment to academic excellence, student success, and global impact.
