East Coast Railway (ECoR) Hockey Team has emerged as champions of the 4th Senior Men’s Hockey State Championship 2025, organised by the Hockey Association of Odisha (HAO). The tournament, held at Rourkela from 6th to 11th September 2025, brought together 36 teams from across the state, reflecting Odisha’s vibrant hockey culture and talent pool.
In a thrilling final against Team Sundergarh, ECoR delivered an outstanding performance under the leadership of their captain, Shri Amit Rohidas. Showcasing his brilliance, Rohidas netted a sensational hat-trick, guiding his team to a well-deserved and memorable victory.
The East Coast Railway Sports Association has long upheld a distinguished tradition of identifying, nurturing, and promoting sporting talent across diverse disciplines. Its athletes have consistently made their mark, winning accolades for Indian Railways, Odisha, and India on both national and international stages.
