International Solar Alliance Meet, Delhi to host from Today

International Solar Alliance Meet

International Solar Alliance Meet: New Delhi will host the 8th Session of the International Solar Alliance Assembly from today at Bharat Mandapam.

The four-day event brings together the global community to deepen cooperation and accelerate solar adoption for a brighter and sustainable future.

Representatives from 124 countries and over 40 Indian Ministers will review progress, address challenges, and align actions toward one vision – affordable solar energy for all.

Significantly, President Droupadi Murmu will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday, highlighting India’s commitment to global solar development through ISA.

India achieved 50% of its total installed electricity generation capacity from non-fossil fuel sources five years ago, ahead of its target.

India is the world’s third-largest solar producer and the second-largest market for renewable energy.

Overall, the Solar Alliance will advance Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of harnessing the power of solar energy.
