Minister Vaishnaw to Visit Odisha: Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, will visit Odisha on 1st November 2025 for a series of important programmes in Bhubaneswar.
During the visit, the Minister will attend the Ground-Breaking Ceremony of SiCSem (Semiconductor Fabrication Unit) at Info Valley, Bhubaneswar. The project is a major step towards strengthening India’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, in line with the vision of “Make in India” and “Digital India”.
Shri Vaishnaw will also witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Odisha at Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. The MoU aims to further enhance railway infrastructure and improve connectivity across the state.
Later, the Hon’ble Minister will visit Bhubaneswar Railway Station to review the ongoing redevelopment and modernization works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
The visit highlights the Government’s commitment to accelerating infrastructure growth, promoting industrial development, and improving passenger amenities in Odisha.
