Voters expressed enthusiasm at being part of this “festival of democracy,” as polling across 18 districts concluded smoothly and peacefully.

With the completion of the first phase, attention now turns to the second phase, in which 122 constituencies will go to polls on November 11. Counting of votes will take place on November 14.
