Indian Idol Love Session: Love truly takes centre stage in the upcoming Season of Love special episode of Indian Idol, as legendary actress Neelam Soni graces the show and contestant Manraj delivers one of the most talked-about moments of the episode.
Manraj sets the stage on fire with his power-packed performance of the iconic song “Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen.” But just when the judges and audience think they have seen it all, he surprises everyone by pausing mid-performance to present a rose to Neelam, instantly turning the moment into pure Bollywood romance.
Explaining the gesture, Manraj charmingly tells Neelam, “Aap ho hi itni beautiful, main ruk hi nahi paya.”A blushing Neelam responded, “Thank you so much,” as the audience cheered. Taking the moment further, Manraj makes a heartfelt request, “Ma’am, meri ek aur request hai… kya aap mere saath stage pe dance karengi?”The crowd chants “Dance! Dance!” when Diwakar jumps in, lightening the mood, followed by Shreya Ghoshal’s playful quip that leaves everyone laughing.
Not to be left behind, Diwakar jokingly says Manraj has forgotten him and announces that he wants to dance with Neelam too. He then impresses everyone by reciting a romantic Gujarati shayari for Neelam followed by a shower of roses, leaving her visibly touched. Responding to the gesture, Neelam smiles and says, “Abhi main naa kaise bol sakti hoon?”
What follows is a delightful dance between Neelam and Manraj on “Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen,” making it one of the most magical moments on the Indian Idol stage. Host Aditya Narayan and Manraj jokingly pretend to cry, overwhelmed by the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
