Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik today announced the names of nine candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls in the state.
The candidates to have secured BJD tickets are:
1- Pipili- Pradeep Maharathy
2-Anandapur- Bhagirathi Sethi
3- Kakatpur- Surendra Sethi
4- Nimapara- Sameer Ranjan Dash
5- Nilagiri – Santosh Khatua
6- Dhamnagar- Rajendra Dash
7- Jagatsinghpur- Prashant Muduli
8- Balikuda-Ersama- Raghunandan Das
9- Niali – Pramod Kumar Mallick
It may be mentioned here that the state will go to polls in four phases starting April 11. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and on the same day the results will be declared.
