BJP President Amit Shah today pulled up Congress for accusing Hindu men of terrorism in Samjhauta express blast case, coining the term ‘Hindu terrorism’ and allegedly protecting the culprits involved in the Samjhauta blast case.
Addressing the party’s Vijay Sankalp Samabesh in Odisha’s Paralakhemundi today, Shah directly accused that the Grand Old Party is trying to defame Hindus.
“You know what happened in the Samjhauta express blast case. All of them were released by the court. Assemanandji was pronounced not guilty and released. Rahul baba & Co defamed the Hindu community before the entire world,” said Shah while asserting that a Hindu can never be a terrorist.
“You have blamed the entire Hindu community and have coined the term Hindu terrorist only for defending your vote bank. Worse, you compromised the national security by not putting the culprits behind the bars,” he added targeting Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
Shah was in the state to campaign for the Lok Sabha and Assembly election contestants of his party in southern Odisha. Addressing the gathering, he took potshots at Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) as well, where he urged the public to uproot the corrupt Naveen government in the polls.
