Senior Congress leader and former Union
Minister P Chidambaram on Wednesday alleged that the Income
Tax department of acting in an autocratic and partial manner.
Referring to IT raids at the residence of DMK Thoothukudi Lok Sabha
candidate and Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi, Mr Chidambaram, in
a series of tweets, said “the news,” is that nothing has been found
during the raids in her residence.
He also sought to know How that tip off on Opposition leaders alone
was being received by the IT officials.
”The marker of the 2019 Parliamentary elections in Tamil Nadu is the
IT department’s autocratic and partial action”, he added.
