Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and senior member Lok Sabha member Santosh Gangwar can be appointed as the Speaker of the 17th Lok Sabha. Although the name of the party MP Maneka Gandhi is also going on from Sultanpur with him, but it is being said that he can get a place in the cabinet. In such a situation, Santosh Gangwar can be made a Protem Speaker. Both Santosh Gangwar and Maneka Gandhi have reached the Lok Sabha by winning the elections eight times.
If both Santosh Gangwar and Maneka Gandhi are inducted into the cabinet on oath taking ceremony this Friday, then Congress MP from Kerala Kodikunnil Suresh can be made a Protem Speaker. Congress leader Kamal Nath was appointed propem speaker for the 16th Lok Sabha.
