A fresh Low Pressure Area is likely to form over northeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during next 48 hours and is likely to become more marked subsequently, the MET office said in its bulletin here on Sunday. Heavy Rain is likely to occur at ISOLATED Places in Telangana for next 24-hours.
Light to moderate Rain or Thunder showers are likely to occur at many Places in Telangana for next 5 days while next 4 days in Coastal AP and at Isolated places also in Rayalaseema region for next 5 days. Southwest Monsoon has been Normal in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam while weak in Rayalaseema, the bulletin added.
Meanwhile, incessant heavy rains have been pounding Telangana for the last four-days resulting in heavy inflows into major rivers like the Godavari and the Krishna.
