Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal today approved the appointment of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi as the State Election Commissioner. Earlier, the state government had accepted Padhi’s application for VRS.
Padhi, a 1983 batch IAS officer assumed charge as the Chief Secretary of Odisha in November 2015 and was to retire from service in February next.
