A jeweller was allegedly murdered in Delhi’s Dwarka area in the early hours on Wednesday. A PCR call was received at around 0236 hours at PS Dabri and the injured was shifted to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

According to local sources , it is suspected that the deceased’s throat was allegedly slit by someone who entered the house while other family members were asleep. The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Lalit Aggarwal, a resident of Madhu Vihar near Sai Baba Mandir.

He was a jeweller and ran his business on the ground floor by the name of Satyam Jewellers and lived with his family on the first floor. A case under appropriate sections is being registered at PS Dabri in this regard. Further probe is underway, the police said.
