Congress Member of Karnataka Legislative Council Rizwan Arshad strongly condmned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s alleged remark against the Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi, during a election campaign in Rajasthan State recently.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr Arshed, taking strong exception to Mr Modi allegedly terming Ms Sonia Gandhi as widow, said that former Prime Minister and AICC President Rajiv Gandhi was martyred for maintaining unity and integrity of the country.
“Let the BJP leaders name single person, who had laid down their lives for the cause of the nation. We condemn the remark made by the Prime minister on our leader” he added.
