Bhubaneswar, Nov 9 : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today asked the officials to closely follow up the Central Sponsored Schemes (CSS) with the Union government in coordination with the Departments of the State and initiate steps for the early release of pending funds. Patnaik gave the direction after reviewing the Central Fund release position under CSS and implementation of 5T framework–Team Work, Transparency, Technology and Time leading to Transformation, today at New Delhi.Official sources here said Patnaik directed the Resident Commissioner, Special Resident Commissioner to continuously follow up the release of funds from CSS and bring it to his notice, if there is any delay.
Official sources here said as on November 7 more than Rs 6,000 crore is due from the centre under major people oriented schemes such as PMAY, MGNREGA, NSAP, PMGSY and some other schemes. Chief Minister also reviewed the implementation of 5T framework and directed to pursue for the allotment of land to set up Odisha Cultural Centre at New Delhi.
