Shiv Sena hits out at BJP in Saamana editorial; hints of horse-trading taking Prez rule’s cover

Mumbai, Nov 16 (UNI) The Shiv Sena penned an editorial in Saamana on Saturday, and continuing its’ trend, the party launched verbal salvos against its’ former long-time ally Bharatiya Janata Party.

The editorial wrote in a curt tone that the BJP is going helter-skelter seeing the Sena’s efforts of weaving a coalition with the NCP and Congress for forming the State government.

It mentioned that the BJP must keep calm else the uneasiness may snowball into lunacy.

The editorial questioned the BJP’s claim of installing the government despite falling short of required 145 legislators and it even wondered how the BJP says that apart from it, no other government will be able to complete the 5-year tenure.
Taking a jibe at the BJP’s talk of forming government, the editorial read, “the tall claim is coming from the very same party which had gone to the Governor and expressed inability to form the government.”

The Shiv Sena went overboard by hinting that attempts of horse-trading are being made taking cover of the President’s Rule.

“Now, Fadnavis is telling his legislators to remain bindaas (carefree) as they would form the government… Under the cover of President’s Rule, attempts are being made at horse-trading,” editorial alleged.
