Dainik Jagran announces the list of Hindi Bestseller on the second day of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF).
The list was announced by Sanjoy K. Roy – Producer of Jaipur Literature Festival, Namita Gokhale – Director of Jaipur Literature Festival and Vishnu Tripathi Executive Editor of Jagran Prakashan Ltd.
In the Dainik Jagran and Nielsen Bookscan Bestseller list, 10-10 books are released in four categories of fiction, non-fiction, translation and poetry, this list offers the best-selling books between October 2018 to December 2018 quarter from the Hindi bestseller list.
In fiction category senior and as well as young authors dominated the list. Among the best known names of the new generation of Hindi writers Satya Vyas’s three books Chaurasi, Benaras Talkies and Delhi Durbar joins top five in the list where as senior and experienced writer Gulzar’s book ‘Do Log’ and Surendra Mohan Pathak’s ‘Conman’ also became part of the top 10 in this category.
In the category of non-fiction, author Ajit Bharti’s book ‘bakar Puran’, Surendra Mohan Pathak’s ‘Na Bairi Na Koi Begana’, Ashok Kumar Pandey’s ‘Kashmirnama’, Actor Ashutosh Rana’s ‘Maun Muskan ki Maar’and the book ‘Azadi Mera Brand’ by National chess player Anuradha Beniwal are top rated
in this category.
Writer Amish Tripathi’s books domitated the translation category, his three books ‘Ikshvaku Ke Vanshaj’, ‘Vayuputron Ki Shapath’ and ‘Sita-Mithila Ki Yoddha’ were included in this category. Former President
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s autobiography ‘Meri Jeevan Yatra’ remained on the top position in the translation category.(UNI)
