Bhubaneswar : Alert button pressed as first ever COVID -19 case detected in Odisha. A youth who had come from Delhi recently has been digonised with the virus and has been admitted to the Capital Hospital here.
However it is being probed to find out the origin of the infection he got from.
The youth in question to have been found with COVID is stated to had come from Italy from where he had come to Delhi some days back and then travelled to Bhubaneswar by train two days back.
His family is reported to have contested the dignosis as not fool proof and alleged victimisation of the youth.
However the chief spokesman of government Subrat Bagchi has stated before the media that the youth has been detected positive. Latest reports are awaited.
