Bhubaneswar: Most of the students of the SOA Deemed to be University have been attending on-line classes as per the guidelines of UGC and AICTE for the last one month. The faculty members were teaching the students through live-streaming on the Google Meet and WebEx platforms while video lectures were being uploaded on the websites for students to study. Between 93 to 98 per cent of the students were attending the classes, SOA sources said.
The faculty members were teaching the students through live-streaming for three to five hours every day for each subject enabling interaction between the students and teachers. The video links were also being mailed to individual students which any student could pick up if he or she missed a class.
Besides, notes were being provided to the students in groups through mail and WhatsApp which facilitated the students to clarify their doubts.
