A seven-member central team to visit Odisha tomorrow to assess the damage caused by cyclonic storm Bulbul

Bhubaneswar, Nov 13  A seven-member central team headed by Saheli Ghosh Ray, Joint Secretary Home Affairs is arriving in Odisha tomorrow to assess the damage caused by the severe cyclonic storm Bulbul.Official sources here said soon after their arrival here, the team members will make field visit in cyclone-affected areas of Bhadrak district. The team will make field visit in Kendrapara district on November 15 and return to Bhubaneswar in the same afternoon.

A wrap up meeting with the team members is scheduled to be held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary in the evening of November 15 before they leave for New Delhi.In addition to Ms Roy, the other members of the team are-Ms Vandana Singhal, Chief Engineer Ministry of Power, Mr Deena Nath, Consultant department of Expenditure, Mr S S Modi, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development,, Mr Amrish Pal Singh , Superintendent Engineer, CWC, Odisha, Dr Virendra Singh Director DRD, Department of Agriculture Patna and Mr Sunil Kumar, Ministry of Road Transport, Regional Office Bhubaneswar.
