Enough of theatrics from India and now it should stop intermediary diplomacy and act

How long the political community of India can remain happy with its hypocrisy they live with, as regards Pakisthani sponsored terror attacks. How long the empty threats can work to create the fear to drive diplomacy if there is no action.

After each such major incident, be it on Parliament or in Mumbai the usual dialogue heard is that, the sacrifices would not go in waste and the perpetrators have to pay a heavy price.

It is necessary that diplomacy has to be  built upon an element of fear but not the copious tears nor  theatrics can scare the enemy. India lulled itself in the self-acclaimed pride of a ‘ surgical strike’ and made a huge claim of its impact. That might have been one step forward but under the shadow of diplomacy, the strategic designs must ensure prevention of war and violence. Fortifying the relation between two nations does not mean an enduring silence towards the dastardly acts of terror from across the border.

One wonders what is the agenda falling within the ambits of the Indian diplomacy, which is an important organ. It should not be tolerance or becoming reactive all the time. After umpteenth number of such cowardly acts by Pakisthan,  there are always a plethora of dialogues which get stymied under  heaps of procrastination till there is another such attack. Is India adopting an intermediary diplomacy ? The pundits of diplomacy must be better equipped to answer such questions.

Reports here and there said that there was an advance information about a plan in the making for this region, preceded by few stray terror related incidents since last two months almost. But, a layman can not impose an opinion over what was the compelling cause for not being proactive since. May be in an election climate, such matters get buried in the blaze of political tu-tu-mein-main(trading of abuses).

And the perpetrators must have chosen such a climate as an opportune time to execute the Pulwama incident through one of the deadliest impersonations so far since 1989. It is not to expect that India can go all guns blazing and attack Pakisthan but such protracted silence of endurance provide the teeth to the enemy to plan things.
