Further decision on stone carving after meeting with religious Gurus: VHP

Ayodhya, Nov 10 (UNI) Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has said that further decision on stone carving will be taken after meeting with Saints and Gurus. VHP spokesperson Sharad Sharma said here on Sunday that construction material for first floor for Ram temple was almost ready while decision on stone carving for second floor will be taken after meeting with religious Gurus and saints.

Mr Sharma said as per order of Supreme Court, Central government has to form a trust within 90 days for construction of Ram temple. When trust will be formed a meeting with Temple construction committee and Sri Ram Janma Bhumi Nyas will be held and further decisions will be taken in that meeting.

He said that Apex court has paved way for construction of Ram temple and mentioned that Lord Ram was born there. He said that about 65 percent work for temple construction was completed till date after formation of workshop in 1990.

According to Mr Sharma, Ram temple will be 265.5 feet long and 140 feet wide and 128 feet tall. Singhdwar, Rang Mandap, Garbh Grah and Parikrama place will be there and 106 pillars with 16 statues at both floors will make the temple grand and divine.

He said that iron will not be used in the temple and about foundations will be prepared in eight months. Workshop incharge Annu Bhai Sompara said that he waited long for this day. He was supervising the workshop since 1992.
