Modi kickstarts poll campaign on a Kashmiri note, ‘we must come together and build a new Kashmir

Expressing satisfaction that the nation is finally moving towards resolving problems of Jammu and KAshmir and LAdakh, Prime Minister Narendra modi on Thursday siad we must all come together and build a new Kashmir.

Addressing a rally in Nashik, which kickstarted the electionc ampaign of the BJP for the Maharashtra polls, the PM said,’we promised the nation that we will make fresh efforts to solve the problems of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. I’m satisfied today that the nation is moving towards it. After facing a long period of violence the people especially the mother and sisters have made up their minds to come out of the situation and head towards development and new opportunities.

We always knew and said “Kashmir humaara hai” but now, there will be a new slogan for every Indian that “ab milkar ek naya Kashmir banana hai” (we must come together and build a new Kashmir. Phir ek baar, Kashmir ko swarg banana hai (Once again, we must ensure Kashmir becomes heaven on Earth).’

The Pm said that the end to special status of Jammu and Kashmir will remove the obstacle to implementing laws that are in place in the rest of India and open the path to bring in various Central projects that help various sections of people in other parts of the country.

“Kashmir lost out on a lot of good that could come its way from Delhi. That hurdle has gone. They will benefit directly from Delhi now. It will benefit millions of people and give them a promising and better future,” he said.

The PM , speaking on Ram Mandir isue, said that some people are speaking irrelevant things in connection with the Ram Temple matter which was not in good taste as the matter was sub-judice and one should have respect for the Supreme Court where it is being heard.

Prime Minister said that for the Bharatiya Janata Party and its government there is nothing more important and bigger than the country.

Seeking blessings from the people during the Maha Janadesh Yatra in Nahsik , he said, despite the hot weather conditions the support of public during his rally in Dindori Maharashtra prior General Elections created such an effect that further empowered BJP’s wave in the country.

He said that the goverment’s hundred days are already complete and the outcome was in front of the people of the country, and people have shown their confidence with the government as the first century of the government is showing performance and dedication.

‘This time like the government earlier worked for making electricity and cooking gas available to the every person , now the government has begun the work of making water available to those who have difficulties in fetching the essential resource,’the PM said.. (UNI)
