Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday said the Delhi Government declared a two-day state mourning, in view of the demise of former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit.

‘Delhi government has decided to declare two-day state mourning over the demise of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit,’ Sisodia said.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sisodia also cancelled their scheduled trip to Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu and Kashmir, due to the sad demise of Dikshit, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) sources said.

A three time Chief Minister of Delhi and senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit passed away at the age of 81 after a long illness.
