BJP sitting MP Naleen Kumar Kateel kicks up fresh row on Godse saying Rajiv Gandhi too responsible for deaths of hundreds

Even before the dust settled on the controversial statement of the BJP’s Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate, Pragya Thakur on Godse as Patriot, the remark of the sitting BJP Mangaluru Lok Sabha member Naleen Kumar Kateel had stoked up fresh controversy by tweeting that while Nathuram Godse killed one person, former Prime Minister late Rajeev Gandhi was responsible for the killing over 17000 people.
Naleen Kumar in his tweeter message, on Friday, had said that Godse killed one man, Kasab killed 72 and Rajeev Gandhi was responsible for the death of 17000 and now decide who is more cruel.
The message, which went viral and sensing trouble, the BJP MP had erased it later.
The remark on late Rajeev Gandhi was said to have made in the wake of the attack on Sikhs in the country,
in the aftermath of the assassination of the Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi.
