Not a very good news for the leaders or political parties in India if someone streamlines their poll related financial activities. Online search major Google did it in US mid-term polls effecting a tight control on who is spending on political ads and at the same time guidelines requiring all ads to include disclosure identifying who paid for the ads. Google plans replication of it for 2019 poll in India. Weekly transparency report that listed political advertisement expenditure on the basis of ads agencies , the party affiliation was what was launched during the US mid-term poll.
