Seven persons were killed and over fifty were severely injured in a
tragic accident when a passenger bus fell into Mahanadi river this
evening. Injured were taken to the SCB medical college hospital. The
local youth played a crucial role in rescuing the injured joining
hands with the official rescue personnel. Several senior officials of
the administration and police rushed to the spot. The bus was coming
from Talcher to Cuttack
