AP CM to address women self-help group on Jan 25

Kadapa, Jan 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will address and interact with a women self-help group here on January 25.

Collector C Harikiran held a review meeting with the officials on the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit, here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that about 40,000 self-help group women from Kadapa, Ananthapur, Kurnool, Nellore and Chittoor district would attend the meeting, and the Chief Minister would address them and interact with them.

The Collector asked the officials to make arrangements in the municipal grounds to organise the programme in a festive atmosphere.  The Collector said that that the women would come in 665 buses and asked the officials to arrange parting lots for the vehicles.

He asked to erect route maps and sign boards at various places. He asked the police personal to handle the parking and traffic management effectively. He asked officials to install LED TVs to present view of dais to all.  The Collector asked the official to take steps to construct  sufficient numbers of toilets.

Superintendent of Police Abhisekh Mohanty said that elaborate security arrangements are being made for the Chief Minister’s visit. MEPMA MD Tataiah said that the Chief Minister is expected to make an important announcement at the meeting.

Joint Collector Koteswara Rao, JC 2 Shiva Reddy, DRO Raghunath and DRDA PD Ramachandra Reddy were among who present.
