Goa Assembly adjourned sine die

Panaji, Feb 1 (UNI) The Goa Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die on Thursday after a brief session of three days.
A total of 419 Legislative Assembly Questions (LAQ), including 147 starred, 65 condolence messages, 11 zero hour mention notices and three calling attention notices were tabled during the three day session, which had commenced on January 29, 2018, with the customary address to the House by Goa Governor Mridula Sinha.
On second day of the session, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who also holds finance portfolio, presented state annual budget for financial year 2019-20 and on the concluding day, the assembly passed the Vote on Account of Rs 8165.88 crore for five months.
During the brief session, eight bills were introduced and passed by the assembly.
