Amit Shah does a copy-book delivery in Parlakhemudi

Bharatiya Janata  Party president Amit Shah made again a copy book speech in Gajoati district of Odisha almost reiterating the same old sloganeering of Naveen ‘hatao’ . In an unsparing vocabulary Shah to slam the  BJD government for not delivering the minimum things despite huge support from the NDA.

His tenor was somewhat similar to that of Prime Minister Modi where a leader plays the role of a ventriloquist and tutoring the people to toe the lines of the tutor. It was a mix of both, theatric and desperation and sometimes personal in nature.

Closer comes the days for the polling the language and sharpness  become more pronounced as was evident from today’s speech. Shah knew that the area he was in is backward region and infested by ultra activities. So he was seen treading through the blend of poverty like the basic issues like education, health and commmood unication.

It was a kind of speech which reflected the traits of a last ditch bid to sway the mass in Modi’s favour. The same stereotyped filibustering of throwing the mood into the people to a kind of pledge to vote for BJP.

At the same time he lost no time to raise a few national security issues to slam the opposition in the country who allegedly tried to sullen the image of the country;s defence capability and achievements. It was a repeat pick that the prime minister resorted to during his last visit to Jeypore in Koraput district.

However, issues like development and non-implementation of many centrally sponsored schemes remain common in all the speeches.
