Crown Prince of Kuwait: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, today. Reflecting on their previous meeting during the UNGA session in September 2024, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the importance of India’s relationship with Kuwait.
Both leaders discussed the growing bilateral ties and welcomed the elevation of their partnership to a Strategic level. They also highlighted the importance of closer cooperation in multilateral forums, including the UN. Prime Minister Modi expressed optimism that India-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) relations will deepen under Kuwait’s presidency.

As part of the visit, Prime Minister Modi extended an invitation to the Crown Prince of Kuwait to visit India at a mutually convenient time. In honor of the Prime Minister, His Highness the Crown Prince hosted a banquet, underscoring the warmth and significance of the diplomatic engagement.
