Jio Platforms IPO: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced today, at the 49th AGM of RIL, that the Board of Jio Platforms has approved its DRHP, and it will be filed with SEBI today. He stated this is a deeply emotional moment for him, for the entire Reliance Family, and millions of its shareholders.
He further added that Akash, Isha, and Anant are heading the Jio IPO process and will lead the next generation of value creation opportunities in the future.
The proposed listing of Jio will demonstrate to the world that India can build technology companies of global scale, global capability, and global value, said Mukesh Ambani.
Reassuring the existing shareholders, and all prospective new investors, he said that a brighter future awaits Jio. The Jio IPO is described as “the most important Value Creation milestone this year”, one that will “unlock great value for Reliance shareholders and offer an attractive investment opportunity to others.”
According to the latest WIPO report, Jio Platforms jumped from rank 340 to 20 in just one year in innovation velocity through patents – the only Indian company in the top 20 globally, above several global tech giants. Citing this he said “Today, Jio is not merely integrating technology. It is creating original technology. Before Jio, many believed India could only import technology. “Our engineers proved otherwise. They built, tested, deployed, and operated technologies at an unprecedented scale.”

New non-line-of-sight capability has dramatically expanded broadband reach to locations where fibre was never viable.

At Jio, AI-native network management is already driving efficiency and quality at scale.
“Just as Jio made data extremely affordable for every Indian, Reliance Intelligence will disrupt AI economics by making it dramatically more affordable for every Indian by the end of this decade,” said Akash Ambani.
