Indonesia Book Fair: Odia Media Private Limited, one of Odisha’s leading publishing houses, will participate in the 46th Indonesia International Book Fair, commencing on September 30, 2026.
The Indonesia Rights Fair, scheduled from September 30 to October 2 alongside the book fair, will bring together more than a hundred publishing organisations from around the world. The organisers have selected 28 organisations for the fellowships. Odia Media Private Limited is the only publishing house from India to receive the fellowship. The event is being organised jointly by the Indonesian Publishers Association and the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Indonesia.
Odia Media Private Limited, which has introduced significant innovations to Odia publishing through its imprint PEN IN BOOKS, remains committed to taking Odisha’s literature to international readers, said its Managing Director and noted fiction writer Subhransu Panda.
Mr Panda expressed hope that participation in the Indonesia International Book Fair would help facilitate the translation and publication of Odia literature in other languages while also bringing outstanding works of world literature to Odia readers.
He further stated that Odia Media Private Limited will showcase Odia books at no fewer than three international book fairs during 2026.
