After a good gap the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sharpened the barb against the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dismissing the notion that something between the both runs against the political narratives of the BJP.

While addressing the rally in Odisha’s Jeypore on Friday the prime minister opened his arsenal taking on Patnaik-run government in Odisha . Taking the dig at the chief minister indirectly Modi made it abundantly clear that it is only the Bharatiya Janata Party which can bail out the people of Odisha from the clutches of a a cyclic poverty.

He reiterated the same issues like non-implementation of Kissan or Ayushman Yojna initiated by the union government which the Odisha government has deliberately ignored for reason best known to the State government.
Modi described the Naveen-led government here as a very weak one and sought to know from the people if they still want to live under the umbrella of an weak and corruption-ridden government like the one by the BJP at the centre or not.

In today’s address what was noticeable that Modi has taken departure from the middle path and resorted to a diabolic stance calling the BJD government as an equity partner in many scams like Chit fund and mining.

Modi who ,in fact, kick-started his campaign in Odisha from Jeypore , again played to the gallery on the issue of the successful anti-Missile firing by the defence department and launched a blistering attack on the opposition for positioning itself against the achievements made by the Defence either in anti-missile fire or on Pulwama. The opposition has indulged itself in acts of downplaying the importance of the security of the nation .

Narendra Modi seemed  very much aware of the fact that, he was on a ground that had a traditional leaning towards the Congress and the fresh ingress by the BJD in last few years may take some more hardwork by the BJP to tear into.
