Carrying forward the high voltage poll campaign in the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha again tomorrow. BJP President Amit Shah will also address public meetings in the state on April 7 and April 9 while Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been scheduled to visit Odisha on April 9.
According to Odisha BJP secretary Jatin Mohanty, Shah has been scheduled to address public meetings at Polsara in Ganjam district and Bargarh on April 7.
He is also scheduled to hold a roadshow in Odisha’s Puri on April 9 which will start from Singha Dwara of the Lord Jagannath Temple and culminate at Badasankha.
Similarly, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee today announced that its national president Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting in Digapahandi on April 9.
It may be mentioned here that the state will go to polls in four phases starting April 11. Polls for the Lok Sabha’s 543 elected seats are being held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. Odisha Assembly polls, on the other hand, will be conducted in four phases between April 11 and April 29. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and the results will be declared on the same day.
