Speaking at a rally in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday Prime minister Narendra Modi made a scathing attack on the Opposition stating that they have neither any policy nor vision to take the country ahead but have the only agenda of “Modi hatao”.
Addressing a massive election meeting here after a five km road show in the state capital, Modi said day and night the Opposition have the falsehood campaign of Modi hatao.
The nation is not the priority for the opposition and for them the agenda is not the development of the country but how to remove Modi.
The Prime Minister asked the people “Is the family dynasty is more powerful than the people’s power and said the opposition have lost the credibility before the people of the country and the public wrath is against the Mahamilawti opposition,
He said before 2014 a remote control government existed as the government at the centre was functioning under a remote control .
The Congress , the Prime Minister said had suppressed the age old tradition and tried to link the Hindus with the terror. This vote bank politics of the Congress had destroyed the 5000 year old tradition of the county and branded the Hindus as terror.
The Congress he said conspired to associate the Hindus with terror but “your chowkidar is standing as a pillar against the conspiracy of the Congress and will never allow them to demolish the age old tradition of the county.
Modi alleged that the Congress can stoop to any level to come to power.The previous government ,he said had no confidence either on the people or the army of the country and never prepared to teach Pakistan a lesion .
The Prime Minister said for last 40 years we were only shedding crocodile tears on terrorism but a new Hindustan with new confidence has now built up and “ghar ko ghush ke marta hai” (can enter the house and kill ).
The Prime Minister said only powerful can talk peace. After the Pulwama attack the the Indian Defene personnel entered Pakistan and gave a befitting reply which the whole world supported India. But prior to that no one was paying any heed to it.
He said the middle class people who can sacrifice for the county were praying the previous government to raise the income tax slab but the Congress government ignored them.
However, Modi said his government in the budget had raised the tax slab to Rs.5 lakh and provided interest free education and home loan
