Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will deliver the first convocation address of the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Sri City (IIITS), on April 23.
Giving the programme details, Dr G Kannabiran, Director, IIITS said that the Vice President has kindly consented to be the chief guest of the ceremony and agreed to deliver the convocation address.
Srinivasa Raju, Chairman, Sri City & Member of Board of Governors of IIITS will preside over the ceremony. Other Members of Board of Governors, including Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City will also attend the convocation ceremony.
During the convocation, altogether 135 students will receive degrees, that includes 105 undergraduates, 29 Honours degrees and one MS degree, Dr Kannabiran said.
