Celebrations began at YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence-cum-state office at Tadepalli, near here, as large number of party activists assembled there and burst crackers for the landslide victory of the party in the general election.
The YSRCP is leading in 150 out of 175 Assembly constituencies and 24 out of 25 Lok Sabha constituencies with the counting still in progress.
Mr Reddy and MP V Vijay Sai Reddy watched the election result over TV in his Tadepalli residence.
The YSRCP released a picture of Mr Reddy hugging Vijaya Sai Reddy to the media after the YSRCP touched 150 leading mark.
A festive mood prevailed in Mr Reddy’s newly constructed residence.
Responding on his Facebook on the landslide victory, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked the people for electing the YSRCP.
He said that he would keep up the confidence of the people. (UNI)
