Bread and butter may not only nourish your body. It can be food for your soul too!
Keeping this in mind Dysco will present “Bread &Butter – What’s on the Table?” a new take on traditional food-focused events. It is designed to create dialogue, sharing and sense of community for anyone passionate about food – be it a budding entrepreneur looking to create an impact in the food space or someone with personal passion for food.
The event will be held in Mumbai on June 30 at WeWork, Dysco said in an e-mailed statement to UNI here. One of the highlights of the event is a series of panels and in-conversations with some of the biggest names and brightest minds. Celebrity chef Rahul Akerkar will be sharing his thoughts on the impact of a healthy gender balanced on professional kitchens. Natasha Diddee of The Gutless Foodie will speak about the impact of food on mental health and stress and Prashant Mehta from VC fund Lightbox will provide insights on how to finance a food-tech ventures in the increasingly competitive food industry.
Mindful of one of the key themes of the event and leading by example, Dysco has partnered with The Robin Hood Army, a volunteer organisation that works to source leftovers from restaurants and community-based events for those struggling to feed their families. The initiative aims to create a zero-waste ethos for Bread & Butter: What’s on the table.
