Low-cost carrier AirAsia today announced the introduction of discounts for international destinations. Guests flying from Kolkata can now avail a discount of 50 per cent to international destinations like Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
Speaking about the initiative, COO Sanjay Kumar said, ‘There has been a significant rise in numbers of travellers planning their trips in advance. With the introduction of our up to 50 per cent off sale, flyers will now be able to travel to their favourite destinations on a shoestring budget. We encourage flyers to plan their trips well in advance and travel with us the AirAsia way.’
The sale goes live on July 15 and ends on April 21, 2020. The travel period commences on July 22, 2019, and ends on February 29 next year.
AirAsia India currently has a fleet of 21 aircraft covering 19 destinations across the country.
