Police has arrested 10 cyber criminals from separate areas located under Khaga police station area of this district. Addressing a Press Conference here Deoghar SP Narendra Kumar Singh said that these criminals were arrested from separate locations in Kasiyatand and Raghunathpur areas. He said that police recovered a total of 35 mobile phones, four SIM cards, six ATM cards, six passbooks, a laptop and Rs 95000 in cash and a four-wheeler from them.
The SP said one of the criminals is a software engineer. Detailing the modus operandi of the gang, he said that these criminals used to give their mobile numbers on the online shopping websites and later when the people when people got in touch with them, they collected all their personal banking information and executed the incidents of Cyber crimes.
