Odisha government has decided to launch e-ICU system in 10 district Headquarter hospitals of the state to provide better medicare to the patients. Health and Family Welfare Secretary P K Meherda said under the programme ICU installed in ten district headquarter hospitals of the state would be linked to SCB Medical College and Hospital through C-DAC and DCL software.
The patients undergoing treatment in the ICU of district headquarter hospitals would get improved treatment and referral.The District Headquarter hospitals which would be linked with SCB Medical College and Hospital are ?Kalahandi, Puri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Bolangir, Malkangiri, Nuapada, Balasore, Baripada and capital hospital Bhubaneswar, the Secretary said.
